Vermentino grapes come purely from grapes grown in the historic vineyard in the 'Sarticola' locality on the hills of Castelnuovo Magra at about 330 metres above sea level. Nestled in charming mediterranean greenery in a sunny oasis where the vineyards draw strength from and sip their sustenance from the earth. The particular microclimate characterised by diverse temperatures and constant ventilation, along with the soil and the influence of the sea, give unique and specific characteristics to the grapes. From these elements along with a late harvest and pre-fermentation maceration, a Vermentino Cru is produced which expresses the excellence of the Luni territory.
